  2. Topic • Letter Writing • Explanation of Letter writing. • To explain the usage of pattern of letter writing. • Types of letter. (Formal and Informal letter).

  3. Instructional Strategies and Tasks • Students will be able to take advantage of the letter writing. • Will learn to write down the things which are used by them in normal routine. • Will be able to present their problems and needs in the form of letter.

  4. SHORT TERM GOAL • Will get aware of the types of letters and the methods of letter writing. • Will get aware of the rules and pattern of letter writing. • Will be able to present their viewpoint without any confusion or difficulty.

  5. LONG TERM GOAL • Will get aware of the pattern of letter writing. • Reading and writing skills will be developed. • Vocabulary will enhance and Develop. • Personal relations will improve.

  6. CHALANGES: These days modern methods such as Email have brought students away from letter writing and students find it boring to right letters. Students with weak vocabulary and weak basic concepts right very slowly with many silly mistakes. SOLUTION: Instead of giving letter writing as classwork teachers should give students activities related to letter writing. Letter writing competition should be held and Group work related to letter writing should be done.

  7. BLOOM TAXONOMY UNDERSTANDING Will know about the importance of letter writing. APPLYING Will apply the use of letter writing in daily life and will know its importance deeply. EVALUATING Teacher evaluate the students through their written work. CREATING Will be able to write Formal and Informal letter.

  8. TIMELINE Month of February: Letter box will be made and then students will writ letters to Teachers and Friends. Explanation about the pattern of letter writing. 4th Week 2nd Week 1st Week 3rd Week Types of letter writing. Letter writing would be assessed in Monthly assessments.

  9. CONCLUSION • Student centered teaching methods will help my students enhance their knowledge and boost their confidence to meet the required standards.
