  2. Hemispheres Antarctica is in the eastern, western, and southern hemispheres but not the northern.

  3. Oceans The surrounding oceans for Antarctica are Pacific ocean, Indian ocean, Southern ocean, Atlantic ocean

  4. Area/Population It’s bigger than Europe and bigger than Australia Without it’s ice caps, As is, it covers about 5,500,000 square miles. Its tallest peak is Vinson Massif, which is almost 17,000 feet high. The population is actually 0 natives it is mostly just scientists researching or photographers the population of scientists in the summer is about 4,000 and in the winter 1,000.

  5. Highest/Lowest points The highest and lowest points in Antarctica are the southern ocean at 0m(0 ft.) and the highest which is Vinson Massif at 5,140m(16863 ft.).

  6. Major City The largest/major city with the population of 1,258 people is McMurdo Station.

  7. Attractions The attractions are mainly the original animals like the Killer whales, Blue whales, Penguins, Seals, and polar bears while there are also all the scenery.

  8. FUN Fun Facts • The lowest temperature was -89 • At the deepest point the ice is 3-4 km thick • Only 0.4 of Antarctica is NOT covered by ice • Antarctica is the highest continent in elevation • Antarctica is 1 and a half times the size of the USA
