The information obtained today will be used to create a high-level swimlane map of your process.
Disconnect and Parking Garage issues will be documented and tracked throughout the process work to be addressed later on.
4. Disconnect Definition A “Disconnect” is:
Anything that negatively impacts the effectiveness or efficiency of a process.
Any missing, confusing, unneeded, or misdirected inputs or outputs to your process.
There are three major categories for Disconnects:
Organization Level Disconnects
Process level Disconnects
Job/Performer Task Level Disconnects
5. Parking Garage Definition A “Parking Garage” is:
A place to store subjects that may need further discussion at a later time, such as:
Something may need clarification.
Research may need to be performed to obtain desired # or $.
