  7. Provision to support at least 800 people into sustained employment Strong focus on young people Geographically focussed on Tottenham and other deprived wards Job creation a key element New approach – Jobs For Haringey

Haringey Jobs Fund • Up to £4,000 subsidy to create a job, lasting up to one year • Each job paid at upper NMW rate (currently (£6.09 ph) with encouragement to pay LLW • Free recruitment support from Jobs For Haringey providers • In work support for up to 12 months • Accredited training support, up to NVQ level 3, for each job created, provided by the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London and the Haringey Adult Learning Service

  9. Timetable & Funding • 3 year programme with first jobs expected to be created in July 2012 • Funding package • Haringey Council £2.6m • GLA £1.5m • ESF £0.5m • Total£4.6m
