3 Fact/ 3 Opinion Provide a Topic to Students. As they research, they must analyze to find3 Facts about the Topic and 3 Opinions. From Edward DeBono’s work, students analyze and evaluate a topic or question for its “P”Pluses, “M” minuses, and “I” Interesting Points. PMI Analysis
Debits & Credits Introduces a thinking balance. Students must evaluate a topic for its Debits {negatives} and “Credits”{positives} BUT the Debits and Credits must equal. Fingerprints encourages students to use synthesis skills to find what is unique, special, or rare in a topic or person. Fingerprints
PDCA PDCA Plan, Do, Check, Act. An organizational system for students to use for classes, projects, and goal-setting. It requires constant instructor feedback initially until students become comfortable with charting and monitoring their learning progress.
