AWF July 2014 (1) • Rate is currently manned at 91%, manned to 96.6% of FY15 Enlisted Programmed Authorizations. • Currently not open to PACT Designation applicants. • -Not taking convert-ins at this time. • Advancement opportunities will decrease as P-3’s transition to P-8. • -Looking for AWF’s to convert to AWO. Please contact ECM if interested in conversion to AWO. • -Approximately 57% of AWF billets are P-3 Flight Engineers. The P-3 began transition to the P-8 in June 2012 however, the P-3 will continue service through 2019. • -Members that non-volunteer from flying duty will be force converted per MILPERSMAN 1440-010.
