Online Pledging Process U.S. Caterpillar Payroll Employees
Employee Notifications – United Way Campaign Underway • Active full and part-time U.S and ISE’s with active CAT email addresses will receive an email Aug. 19, 2013 from CEUWA_cat@cat.com • E-mail will provide a link to pledge online • Employees without active email addresses (i.e. production employees), will have access to the pledge link via www.caterpillar.com/unitedway
Accessing eWayThe employee will need their Corporate Web Security (CWS) ID and password. Enter CWS ID and Password and click login

How to reset CWS password Click on the Forgot Password link
Reset CWS Password • Enter CWS ID and click continue • Answer first challenge question and click continue • Answer second challenge question and click continue • Answer third challenge question and click continue • Enter new password and confirm new password then click set password • Note: if these steps are unsuccessful contact your local help desk to reset your password

Employees who pledged in 20123 Options – Continue pledge, Change pledge, or I do not wish to contribute
Donating via Payroll Deduction and click ContinueEmployees have the option to select Payroll Deduction or No Thanks. I do not wish to contribute.
Option 1: Select an amount per pay period and click continueEmployee has 3 options for payroll deduction: amount per pay period, one-time payment, or percentage of annual salary.
Option 2: Select one-time annual gift amount and click continueEmployee has 3 options for payroll deduction: amount per pay period, one-time payment, or percentage of annual salary.
Option 3: Select percentage per pay period and click continueEmployee has 3 options for payroll deduction: amount per pay period, one-time payment, or percentage of annual salary.
Donating via Stock and click ContinueEmployees have the option to select Payroll Deduction, Stock or No Thanks. I do not wish to contribute.
Enter Stock Details and click ContinueTo donate using stock complete all the fields and click “add stock”. Also be sure to review stock payment instruction before continuing.
Designation OptionsThe default United Way listed below will be the employees home zip code United Way. Employees have the option to designate to a total of 4 United Ways or funded agencies
Search for United Way(s) or Agencies United Way agencies within employees home zip code
Donation Distribution – Enter AmountEmployees can choose to designate by percentage or by dollar amount. Minimum of $25 per agency.
Negative Designation then select continueAn employee can write in an agency they do not wish to have their money allocated
Donor RecognitionInformation on this page is optional. Employee can choose if they wish to remain anonymous by selecting the box under acknowledgements.
Donor Information then click ContinueInformation on this page is optional. Employee can enter or change information in these fields.
Print Pledge Receipt and click LogoutEmployees can print this pledge certificate. Employee will also receive and email with their pledge summary details and a certificate to print.
