(Date, point form, etc) • How you used the feedback: I just resumed my whole text and gave the main points. I added the date, title, • What mark you think you have achieved and why? I think I deserved full marks because I improved my mark by fixing the format of my text. • One thing I would like you to notice about this assignment is. It was handed in late but I did put my maximum effort into the assignment. • One thing I really like about this assignment is. How it was something that we would all most likely use for the future and it let us kind of find the experience by giving us links to go onto other sites to assure that we learned something and can figure it out on our own.
Internet Literacy • Assignment: Internet Literacy • Literacy Topic covered: Tips on how to handle various types of bullying. • Learning statement: I learned that you should always follow your own head and instincts, turn off your webcam when not using it, let your parents be aware of everything your doing and going, and don’t talk to strangers nor add personal information in public. • Feedback from students: A lot of information throughout and contains a lot of different types of bullying into one comic. Should correct a bit of spelling and maybe organize more. • How you used the feedback: I corrected as much words into its proper grammar as I could and organized as much as I could to make the order of what to read first and next, more in order. • What mark you think you have achieved and why? I think I deserve full marks because I gave as much information that I knew, into the comic and kind of linked various kinds of bullying into one whole situation. • One thing I would like you to notice about this assignment is. I added as much information as I could and tried to make the story more understandable to high school students and other ages because bullying isn't only part of school but your entire life. • One thing I really like about this assignment is. How we were shown a few videos to really warm up and summarize what bullying is, so it was easier with videos to help us the concept of what we were doing.
Personal sketch Assignment: Personal Sketch Topic covered: How to use Gimp, and specifically how to use layers to draw and trace your own image. It basically made you more aware of every nook and cranny of your face. Learning statements: Every detail of how you look and how to you gimp. Feedback from students: A bit similar to the original image. Should add little details. How you used the feedback: I tried to add the shape of my teeth and braces into it. What mark you think you have achieved and why? I think I deserve a little mark of because I could've maybe tried a lot harder and gone that extra mile like color it. One thing I would like you to notice about this assignment is. First few classes I was seriously lost on how to use gimp with the layers and tools. Although everyone else was probably lost too. One thing I really like about this assignment is. It lets us observe our face.
Confidence Collage • Assignment:Confidence Collage • Topic covered: How to use gimp and also what activities in life, need confidence in order to pursue them. • Learning statements: How to cut out faces and what you need confidence in, in order to succeed. • Feedback from students: Face wasn’t exavtly on the neck.. • How you used the feedback: Attached head to neck as best as possible? • What mark you think you have achieved and why? I think I deserve full marks because I tried to do my best like add more then one face into each image. • One thing I would like you to notice about this assignment is. I did one extra image, from the minimum needed, so in case one really sucks the other could make up for it? • One thing I really like about this assignment is. We could make very strange faces to somewhat match the image we chose. Fun.

Full marks because I’m pretty sure most answers were correct and I organized as best as I can. • One thing I would like you to notice about this assignment is. It’s extremely organized, which is a first for me? • One thing I really like about this assignment is. It was something that finally someone told us why breakfast is important, so now we actually eat it.

Full marks because I wrote out all I should've wrote and my personal knowledge on each question as well. • One thing I would like you to notice about this assignment is. I pretty much did everything that was told. • One thing I really like about this assignment is. It’s very straight forward with the questions.

Full marks because I was specific and at point with the statement I was trying to give. • One thing I would like you to notice about this assignment is. It was complicated with instructions.. • One thing I really like about this assignment is. We could give our own personal answers.
Drug Research • Assignment: Drug Research • Topic covered: Partnered project where each of us researched the top 5 used drugs and we cover the scientific and street names, description, looks like, the effects, how it is used, statistics, and level of addiction. • Learning statements: Drugs are very harmful, could be snorted, has a scientific name. • Feedback from students: Lots of easy point form information but there aren’t any statistics. • How you used the feedback: Added the few statistics to the ones I did not do. • What mark you think you have achieved and why?An A because I put a lot of effort and filled out all the required information needed for the the assignment. • One thing I would like you to notice about this assignment is. It wasn’t really doing anything technological, it was only the activity of typing. So maybe if we were able to do something that will help us visually learn and create an assignment will help have the information stick in our heads more. • One thing I really like about this assignment is. It was pretty basic although it did teach us a lot about drugs that could definitely effect even if we’re going to live in the future. We were given all the main points of information we were supposed it search so it was fairly easy.
Mansion • Assignment: Build a mansion using sketchup and decorate the inside. • Topic covered: How to use sketchup. • Learning statements: How to use sketch up and use the tools given. • Feedback from students: Copied (downloaded) house when the only permission was to ‘decorate’ the house with downloaded objects. • How you used the feedback: I restarted it obviously and tried my best to decorate the exterior. • What mark you think you have achieved and why? At the very least a B because due to the time limit, I was to only briefly decorate the interior. • One thing I would like you to notice about this assignment is… it was a project that I could only work on at school because I don’t own a Mac. I also tried to help a couple of people because I knew a few tricks they did not come to yet. Also since I added a model of a fish, the program froze and a lot of work had to be removed. • One thing I really like about this assignment is. We were technically amateur architects and got to learn how to make a “mansion” and I was able to download a fish which I think is pretty cool.
Careers Assignment • Assignment: Careers Assignment • Topic covered: Three chosen careers we are most interested in from the website given (by doing a quiz) and receiving results. • Learning statements: I learned more of the salary and especially the requirements like passing of secondary school, degrees, bachelors degree, etc) I received information from my three careers flight attendant, criminologist, and real estate agent. • Feedback from students: Very detailed but could’ve been easier to read and generally organized better. • How you used the feedback: I made the text in bullet form so it would be easier to distinguish the different pieces of information. • What mark you think you have achieved and why? I think I deserve at the very least a B because it wasn’t in PowerPoint so visually it could’ve been more appealing and better. • One thing I would like you to notice about this assignment is. I saw that the salary could be a lot different by the time I get a job, so I roughly estimated the salary by comparing the pattern over the years using statistics. • One thing I really like about this assignment is,,, it is definitely something that will effect and impact our future so it was an assignment worth doing. Also its nice because we get the general idea of how important passing high school, our grades, and getting to university or college is so it kind of reminded us what our priorities should be.
Garage Band • Assignment: Garage Band • Topic covered: How to use the program Garage Band. We had to create a song using the tools, variety of instruments, and themed music to create a song. We had to have a specific plot like the introduction beat etc. It had to be gradual. • Learning statements: How to time and choose the right instruments the go together for a completed song. • Feedback from students: Near the start a lot of instruments abruptly tuned in. • How you used the feedback: I spread the timing between each introduction for a new instrument and added a bit more distinguished sound for the chorus. • What mark you think you have achieved and why? I think I deserve full marks because I used the required format of the assignment and order of instruments • One thing I would like you to notice about this assignment is… it was a program that was a bit complex to understand how to use and a section of my computer froze, therefore I could’nt put in as much time I could’ve. • One thing I really like about this assignment is.
