The Chorus boasts about humanity’s ability to overcome obstacles: “Numberless wonders / terrible wonders walk the world but none the match for man” (376 – 377).However, this acts as a warning to how man’s strength can become his weakness.

His eyes then wonder around the room and everyone appears to be completely composed. Finally, the five-minute warning is called and he begins to have a panic attack. Each year, juniors all across the country register for the ACT, a national college admission exam. Students and their families invest money in practice tests, tutors, classes, and other resources to help prepare for the actual assessment. Is it all worth it? Well, the exam certainly has a number of benefits, including its ability to show one’s potential and its aptitude to evaluate every student in America on a standard-based scale. However, the ACT should not be taken into consideration by colleges because its detriments outweigh its benefits.
