32. BATTERY Testing CHAMBER Model HPCT -3150NMUT Fireproofing System: Principle of Operation The movable sensor is placed close to the test specimen (batteries). If battery/s explodes and/or catches fire, the temperature inside the chamber will rise. When the movable sensor senses the rise in temperature, it will send out a signal to open the Damper.
