Positive Deviance Identifies those in resource poor situations who are achieving positive outcomes Identifies uncommon/innovative behaviors which may be accessible to other organizations Identifies pathways to success for others in similar resource poor environments
Survey of Providers • 30 structured interviews completed with nurses, social workers, and physicians working within Indiana cancer centers • Analyzing qualitative data • Possible next steps • Investigation of innovative assessment processes • Uniqueness of rural care centers
