About NICS Network of International Christian Schools • The mission of NICS is to establish a worldwide network of international Christian schools staffed by qualified Christian educators, instilling in each student a Biblical world-view in an environment of academic excellence and respect for people of all cultures and religions. • Currently, NICS has 19 schools in 16 countries with around 4,700 students from over 100 countries. These are the children of people of influence!

Fun Facts About Brazil • Brazil is the largest country in South America (5th largest in the world) and the only one that speaks Portuguese. • The capital city is Brasilia, but the largest city is Sao Paulo. • The Amazon River flows through Brazil; it is the 2nd longest river in the world. • The climate in the majority of Brazil is tropical. • Brazil is home to lots of animals including armadillo, tapirs, jaguars and pumas.
We exist to prepare international students to positively impact the world. • Brasilia International School (BIS) is a caring learning community based on a biblical world-view. BIS prepares international students to be life-long learners, effective communicators, responsible citizens, healthy people, and spiritually sensitive individuals. • Pre-School through 12th grade • Student Population: 94% - international community (most diplomatic) 6% is missionary community

Prayer • God preparing us to effectively do His work Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel,for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should. Ephesians 6:19-20 • Smooth transition—moving out of apt./saying goodbye • Visa process • Our families • BIS staff and students • Financial support will be raised
