  2. How does this relate to my book? In my book, “Home of the brave” Kek comes from a culture in Africa were cattle represents wealth, the more cattle you have the richer you are.

  3. Why is cattle so important? In some parts of Africa, Cattle is everything, it gives you meat, milk, and money to send your kids to school. It is the main source of income for many African tribes.

  4. Theft Because cattle is so important, many people resort to cattle rustling. This can be a very dangerous crime because people will defend cattle with there lives, and with the arrival of guns, things often don’t end well.

  5. Different kinds of Cattle There are many different breeds of cattle from the Barka, a cow that is mostly used for milk and meat to the Djerma, a small horse used for riding.

  6. Other uses for cattle One of the main reason cattle is so import to men is that that they often use cattle to pay for wives. Women also can also use parts of cattle for clothing and jewelry

  7. Interesting facts - The largest is the Durham ox -The Watusi has the largest horns -They have found bones of cattle in Africa dating back 2000 years.
