What is National Enterprise Operations (NEO) ? • NEO touches almost every Bank One customer through our various services • NEO annually processes 5.3 billion checks and other items • Prints 170 million customer statements • Distributes 3 billion dollars in cash to internal & external customers
What all does NEO include? • Just a few of our functions: • Sorting and encoding checks (Item Processing) • Special handling of stop payments and non-sufficient funds (Exceptions & Returns) • Printing customer statements (National Statement Processing) • Payment and information processing for credit cards and utilities (Lockbox) • Cash servicing for Commercial customers & Banking Centers (Cash Services) • Processing account changes and returned mail (Account Maintenance)
National Enterprise OperationsManagement Development Program • Participants are prepared for a career as an operations manager • Strong focus on management and leadership training to prepare for supervisory role • Curriculum composed of • Rotational assignments through all operational units • Project assignments • Mentoring • Training, classes, & other developmental opportunities • Program lasts 6 months, followed by job placement
