Who is Roald Dahl? • Roald Dahl was born in 1916 and died at the age of seventy-four in 1990. He was born in Llandaff, Wales and went to a school called Llandaff Cathedral School, St Peters, Repton. • Before Roald Dahl was an author he worked in Shell oil company in East Africa. Then he worked as a pilot in the second world war. Soon after the war ended he became an author.
