  7. Advice on item writing • Present items in the order in which the answers can be found in the text • Not to write correct response that can be found without understanding the text. • No general knowledge items • Make items independent of each other • Make minor changes

  8. Scoring • Grammatical error, spelling, punctuation should not be penalized • The function of reading test is to test reading ability
