  2. 국제학술회의 (The International Science Council) • 3개국 이상의 학회가 주관하여 개최하는 학술회의 • 발표된 논문은 SCI Journal에 게재 • SCI (Science Citation Index) • 미국 과학정보연구소(ISI : Institute for Scientific Information)가 과학기술분야 학술잡지에 게재된 논문의 색인을 수록한 데이타베이스 • ISI는 매년 전 세계에서 출판되고 있는 과학기술저널 중에 자체 기준과 전문가의 심사를 거쳐 등록 학술지를 결정 • SCI의 등록여부는 세계적으로 그 권위를 인정받고 있는 학술지 평가기준 • Impact factor • 흔히 인용지수라 말함 • 어떤 잡지에 게재된 논문 한편이 특정 년도나 기간 동안 인용된 빈도수 • 논문이 실린 잡지의 수준을 평가하는 척도
