Strong Desire(To long after / set the heart upon) epithumia: Morally neutral, of any strong desire, longing, craving • Context will explain, Lk. 16:21; 1 Cor. 10:6 • Intensely PURE desire • Christ’s desire to eat Passover, Lk. 22:15 • Paul’s desire to be with Christ, Phil. 1:23 • Paul’s longing to see brethren, 1 Ths. 2:17

Strong Desire(To long after / set the heart upon) epithumia: Morally neutral, of any strong desire, longing, craving • Sinful desires of the FLESH and MIND, Eph. 2:3; Matt. 5:28 • Deceitful lusts, Ephesians 4:22 (19) • Worldly, Titus 2:12; 1 John 2:16-17 • Corrupting, 2 Peter 1:4 • Fleshly lusts attack the soul, 1 Peter 2:11
