  7. Survey new parties Why did you connect to AMS-IX: • Best peering partners, wide reach surrounding countries • Main reason to peer with other content parties, to lower our costs. Later we saw that ams-ix is of good quality exchange. We also greatly improved our quality, next to lower cost • We wanted peering connectivity in Europe to improve our performance connection • We found that this is quite large number of members, perfect public peering platform in Europe • Because of the good price for the transport (from other party) and we amount of traffic we could expected from the AMS-IX Also: • CEO figured this out, not known why. • Started IX years ago, many discussions with Job Witteman Business Update - MoreIP – 23rd May 2012
