  2. Continued Admission Evaluation Process Improvement and Document Imaging Implementation • Document Imaging System - Remaining technical deliverables include: • automation/electronic entry of transfer course data into DARS • elimination of debilitating system slowness. • Process improvements and changes to business work flow will likely include: • implementation of Banner auto decision process • further enhancements/automation of document matching within imaging system • streamlined profile creation/cashiering functions • changes in strategic planning and prioritization of file processing Collaboration: • Imaging system enhancements requires working closely with IT and vendor to ensure technology deliverables function as needed and that IT system support is adequate and ongoing. • Streamlining cashiering functions requires re-design work with Business Affairs staff. Challenges: In an environment with an ever growing number of priority IT projects, it is hard to keep IT focused on delivering solutions and supporting the system.

  3. RedLantern (DARS) Enhancements and Upgrades  u.Direct Implementation • complete upgrade to U.Achieve; includes a more user-friendly, graphical, online degree audit and decentralized exception entry • complete collection and identification of undergraduate degree maps/milestones and post to website. • complete u.Direct software implementation • develop processes to support degree milestone tracking and student outreach/notification Collaboration: Requires intense work with IT staff, academic departments, CRM staff. Challenges: This work requires time and expertise from IT and academic departments.

  4. Online Graduation Application • Develop an online graduation application solution to improve service to students and reduce staff manual data entry work. Challenge: The SIS Banner baseline solution does not meet our needs. ARR Banner tech team must develop a customized workable solution.

  5. Implement Grading Policy for X & M Grade and Develop Grading Policy Tutorial/Webinar Implementing changes to policy requires: • working with IT to modify faculty online grade change feature in Banner self-service • developing a communication/training program to inform faculty and students of the new policy • communication will include an online tutorial/webinar for faculty that defines and explains the PSU grading system, rules and regulations. Collaboration: IT, Scholastic Standards Committee, faculty/department partners

  6. Common Online Co-Admission Application • Develop single, common online co-admission application to be shared by PSU and all of its co-admit partners. • Processes will be developed to securely share collected application data with partners. Collaboration: Co-admit partners will need to adjust their data management processes and support change.
