  3. Challenges • Resource person to support the group • Farmer knowledge/Skill in the agro-business • Cannot processing in local area/Country (Depend on the neighbor country) • Some crop seed is hybrid (Vegetable and corn) • Gov’t have policy to support farmer but not practical properly yet

  4. Important support • Capacity building to farmer on CBFA • Technical working group on CBFA (Multi-Stakeholder) • Mobilize resource person/Technical Assistance to work specific on CBFA • Establish seed entrepreneur at local level on vegetable, corn and rice • Support SME to mobilize local products for processing and distribution • Mobilize fund for operating some pilot project

  5. Policy • Push government to apply and practical on the policy for support on marketing • Push CBFA to be popular inside each country • Push Gov’t to make national policy on CBFA and regional level

  6. Proposed LSFM phase 2 • Support SME that working closely with farmers by using farmers’ products to processing, value added and marketing • Providing more revolving fund to farmer conducting some action research to improve their innovation and support some rural enterprise (SME) in term of loan or revolving fund • Dialogue organizing at local level in order to expand and promoting the LSFM • Supporting community business that have potentially on specific products and as well as foods facility such rice, cash crops, animal feeder and vegetable
