Keep your Desktop clean and folders well maintained. Keep a safe record of all of your logins and passwords (e.g. onto a spreadsheet) Regularly back up your work onto a hard-drive and portable USB. For extra security save onto a Google Drive or other online file hosting service Maintain all of your study notes in a ring binded folder with separators and plastic wallets or a well maintained note book you can refer back to.
