Hotel management • An array of career possibilities is available to graduates in the areas of professional management in restaurants, hotels, resorts, hospitals, institutions, conferencing and catering, and recreation management.
PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE • To professionally train, develop and excel students for diverse domains of hospitality industry. • To impart highest job ethics and empower students with recognize standards of the hospitality industry. • To inculcate knowledge and skills as per the global requirements and standards. • To empower students with varied career opportunities and entrepreneurship knowledge that would provide mutual growth among the society, nation and self.
PROGRAMME SPECIFIC OUTCOME • Develop technical, conceptual and analytical knowledge required in the hospitality sector. • Apply the knowledge gained through experiential learning in campus and linkages with the hospitality environment. • Demonstrate management styles and strategic thinking to sustain in the challenging field of hospitality sector. • Ability to implement the theoretical concepts in order to generate the employment through entrepreneurship.
ELIGIBILTY CRITERIA • Duration: 4 yrs. A candidate who have passed Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) Examination with five subjects including English as a compulsory subject from any recognised Board/University and obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) shall be eligible to join the first semester of BHM&CT programme.
