What is nOTIFYsYNC? • NotifySync, a client application for the BlackBerry that provides ActiveSync support for email and PIM (calendar, contacts, and tasks) synchronization and a variety of ActiveSync policies. • Creates a new email box but utilizes the BlackBerry’s native address book, calendar, and task applications. • Does not require a BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES). • Utilizes the lower cost BIS data plan as opposed to the higher cost BES data plan. • Supports any BlackBerry device running RIM OS 4.5 – 7.1 NotifySync

Notifysync feature overview NotifySync Email PIM • Uses NotifySync client to send, receive, reply to, forward, and delete emails. • Folder Mirroring allows email folders from your email account to be synchronized to the device. • Attachment viewing is supported using the BlackBerry’s native viewers. • Emails with attachments can be forwarded • Attachments can be saved to memory card • Interfaces to the BlackBerry native Calendar, Contacts, and Tasks. • Synchronize calendar events in a configurable way by setting up a look back range. • Remote Lookup (Global Address List) retrieves contact information from an enterprise LDAP directory. This info can be used in Email Composition. • Receive and respond to meeting invitations. • Initiate meetings from the NotifySync application.
