  2. How Students are Selected • Students are selecting using the state mandated DIBELS assessment based on their Oral Reading Fluency Score. • Students that are emerging, struggling or self-conscious readers can be selected for Reading Assistant.

  3. What is Fluency • Fluency is the ability to read text accurately and quickly. Fluency bridges word decoding and comprehension.
