  2. Uned 5 wanted to make snowman biscuits because they have been learning about signs of winter.

  3. We found a recipe and made a list of things we needed to buy. Then we walked to the shop.

  4. We went to the Co-op supermarket.

  5. Snowman biscuits ingredients We needed: • 200g Flour • 100g sugar • Icing sugar • 100g butter • 1 large egg • Decorations

  6. This butter weighs 250g. We only need 100g. How much is spare?

  7. We found butter in the fridges.

  8. We saw butter for £1.62. Ours cost £1.08. How much did we save?

  9. We were looking for flour. Lucky we chose the right kind.

  10. We looked at the eggs but they are in packs of 6. We only wanted 1. We got an egg from our chicks.

  11. The butter cost £1.08 and the icing sugar £1.15. How much altogether?

  12. The bill was £5.65. Mia paid £5.70. How much change?

  13. We crossed the zebra crossing to go back to school safely

  14. Mrs.Thomas let us in and we washed our hands ready to bake.

  15. Tilly knew we needed half of the pack of butter.

  16. We mixed the flour and butter and sugar together.

  17. We needed two eggs because our eggs were only small.

  18. When the mixture was ready we put it in the oven for 10 minutes.

  19. We had to wait for them to cool because the oven had been on 180.

  20. Our snowmen biscuits didn’t melt. We counted 6 buttons on each one.

  21. We had lots of fun! And it all started with a story!
