  1. QRPA Calculation in Fitting Process of Functional J. Terasaki and J. Engel Proposal: • Use energies and B(E2)↑’s of lowest 2+ states in even- even nuclei. There are more than 500 measured energies and about half that many measured   BE2's.  These data reflect presence of dynamical deformation as well as   static deformation. • Use Gamow-Teller resonances and higher-multipole analogs (e.g. spin-dipole) for time-odd properties Not as much data, but still very useful, particularly once deformed QRPA   is available.
