1. Turn the Town Hall into a multi-functional cultural and community centre, open for cinema, theatre, concerts, events, local community, children etc
2. Open the large Town Hall car park for the use of Crouch End residents and visitors to the Town Hall as a pay and display parking facility
3. Reclaim the area in front of the Town Hall for a multi-use European/Covent Garden style piazza.
“Selling the Town Hall would be like selling the heart and soul of our community. We must not be for sale.” Jack Ellis
“It’s a pity to have a space like this virtually redundant and to revitalise it would be fantastic. The Brits are hardy people and we love sitting outside in continental-style piazzas pretending it’s warm enough. Crouch End has it here on a plate.” Dermot Murnaghan
We ask that Haringey Council work cooperatively with CEfP regarding the handover of the site to the Hornsey Town Hall Trust, for the benefit of the community
“Haringey Council has had it for long enough, and they have left us with a Town Hall to be ashamed of” Annie Miles
