  2. PRONUNCIATION meanshow words are pronounced.

  3. STRESS means a word or syllable is pronounced with greater force than other words in the same sentence or other syllables in the same word, or a musical note is played with greater force than others in a group.

  4. INTONATION means the sound changes produced by the rise and fall of the voice when speaking, especially when this has an effect on the meaning of what is said

  7. Make a group of four, try to read this passage with a proper pronunciation, stress, and intonation with your own group! Pussy, My sweet cat I have a cat. Her name is Pussy. She is my beautiful gray Persian cat. She has a small body. She also has two ears. It has smooth fur. She has four legs. She walks with pride and grace. Her pride, however, does not extend to her appearance, for she spends most of his time indoors watching television and growing fat.
