Definition • Compulsive exercising is when a person exercise more vigorously for an extended period of time.
Signs and symptoms • A person starts developing a negative relationship with food and may possibly begin to have a eating disorder. • A person starts to become more moody and easily restless. • A person will become less sociable.
Consequences • Compulsive exercising can cause serious damage to the body and to a persons health. • Bones, muscles, joints etc. may experience serious damage if they do not have the chance to heal and rest. • If the proper nutrition isn't consumed the muscles being to literally decay. • Risky disorders such as insomnia, depression and fatigue may occur. • Too much exercise can lead to the release of excessive free radicals, which have been linked to cellular mutations and cancer.
Conclusion • Compulsive exercise starts when a person isn't exercising for the right reason, it may begin with the simplest signs and symptoms and it can cause serious damage to the human body. • Compulsive exercising won't lead to any positive effects on life.
