The Hygiene Improvement Project HIP is: • a 5-year USAID-funded project (until 2009), • led by AED, with partners ARD, IRC Netherlands, and Manoff Group • designed to achieve at-scale hygiene improvement behavior change • in 5 countries and through selected, strategic activities, • which are centered on 3 key hygiene practices:
