Objective • Students will prove triangles congruent using the ASA Postulate and the AAS Theorem.
Postulate 4-3 • Angle Side Angle Postulate • If two angles and the included side of a triangle are congruent to two angles and the included side of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent.
Turn to page 235 • Look at Problem 1 and 2 • Try the “Got It” problems for those two examples.
Theorem 4-2 • Angle Angle Side Theorem • If two angles and a nonincluded side of a triangle are congruent to two angles and a nonincluded side of another triangle, then the triangles are congruent. • Look on Page 236 for an example
