  2. RD51 meetings & conferences • Topical seminar on particle + radiation detectors, Siena: 7–10 October 2013 (CesareBini) • RD51 Collab. Week + Neutron detection workshop, 14–16 Oct. 2013, at CERN • Theo Alexopoulos has submitted abstract on performance of MMs in neutron environment (Neutron WS) • Fabien Jeanneau will present some update on MM industrialization (WG6) • Atsuhiko Ochi with an update on resistive strip foils production Japan (?) • Michele Bianco could present the measurements on the resistive-strip alignment (?) • Other suggestions ???

MM & NSW meetings • MM mechanics meeting: 25/26 October 2013 (Purpose: review status of mechanical prototypes) • Propose to cancel this meeting, unless strong objections • Include some mechanics issues in meeting of 6/6 Nov.; plan for a mechanics meeting in Jan. 2014 to conclude on the construction method(s) • MM general meeting: 6/7 November at CERN • Purpose: discuss project organization and activities for 2014, including electronics aspects • NSW electronics workshop: 11/12 Nov. (close to CERN) • Mechanical workshop: January 2014

MM meeting: 6/7 November • ½ day on detector construction issues • Update of activities on mechanical prototypes • Update on functional prototype activities • Prepare January meeting • Define criteria for decision on assembly method(s) • ½ day MM project organization issues • Define a list of task to be fulfilled in 2014, prior to production • Who takes up which task? • Management/coordination structure … • ½ day MM activities in 2014 • Optimization of operating parameters • Module 0 construction • Tests • ½ day for electronics issues • Procurement of VMM2 for tests, etc…
