Where things stand • Spent last couple months building the foundation • COVE API is in production • Also built in features to support iPhone/iPad • Next is Ingest and Edit functions
The Basics • Built on new COVE API • Much faster • Easier sorting of your content • Ability to save your work • Simplified publishing workflow • Links to documentation • Better distribution options • Will use Universal User Authentication
New concepts – Distribution Channels • Actual Channels TBD • Default channels assigned to accounts • Opt-out on individual asset basis • Metadata very important • Hi-Res images more and more important
