How? • KT Fund financial support • The KT Fund is a tool introduced 3 years ago, using resources generated by the exploitation of CERN IP portfolio complemented by DG budget, currently supporting 11 projects (6 of which with main applications to medicine/life-science) • Project support given by a TTO from KT (Zoe Lawson): • Project planning and control • Support with IP issues (including patentability and prior art studies) • Help contacting external partners for setting up new collaborations and negotiating contractual conditions if useful • Perform techno-economic assessments of innovative technologies identified during the execution of the project • Some examples of past contributions: ISOLDE-MEDICIS isotopes review, MicoScint project plan, ADAM dosimeter market assessment…
