Current situation in HE system • Currently, 128650 students study at the Bachelor’s level and 7940 students at the Master’s level. Students are being taught and educated by 22427 teachers. More than 1000 of them are Dphil, nearly 6 000 Assistant Professors. • University libraries have books fund consisting of 20 million copies.

Create a system of public reporting on the activities of higher education institutions Establish software that maintains the informational space for higher education DoQuP Enable wider participation of the students’ self-governing entities in the management of higher education institutions Establish a higher education institution self-assessment model Establish e-government system in higher education Create a mechanism that determines a higher education institution’s rating DoQuP online documentation meets our HE needs
Improve the mechanism on mutual recognition of higher education documents Create a new rules for selection and placement of scientific- pedagogical staffs in universities DoQuP Organize a monitoring of the labor market in orderto determine the staff needs Develop new mechanism that will provide student involvement in scientific- research work Establishment of student support services To adapt the study programs in higher education to the classification of European qualifications and the demands of labor market
Issues to be discussed: • Practices- pedagogical and production depending on sp; • Student admission is being carried out by State Admission Committee; • Enlightining on Tuning project and Dublin Descriptors as completely new area; • Information on procurement – dorms, sport hall etc. • Ways of establishment of SSS-their qualification • to put a score scale and evaluate, easy way to establish rating • Age group of the teaching staff • Available bibliographical material in native language (existance of new arrivals) • Not all the HEIs have their own management systems for quality, also centers for QA, what negative effect will they face according to Online Documentation System? • General simplification of the model.
