Anonymous Marking • Anonymous marking must be enabled by the Turnitin UK Administrator • Once enabled (and there has been one submission) it cannot be turned off • From this point on the name is covered in the in-box as shown below • Anonymous marking is turned off after the post date • Live from today!
Individual students A reason must be given if anonymous marking is turned off before post date
Student Repository Options • Must be enabled by the administrator • Additional option when creating assignment • “Student’s choice of repository”
Open Options for Integrations • What: A new annual subscription offering • Target Customers: Institutions who want to use Turnitin services inside a CMS/LMS/VLE • Replaces: Fixed license fees for each integration • Pricing: An additional 10% fee added to the institution’s subscription price • What Customers Get: • Access to TOOLS website • 1 or many integrations – not just a specific one • Tech support
What is TOOLS? TOOLS (Turnitin Open Options Library Site) is a web-based, all-in-one resource area that provides: • Interfaces (APIs) • Code packages (such as Blackboard Building Blocks) • Instructions • Documentation … for integrating Turnitin services with as many instances of various CMS/LMS/VLEs as the institution wants.
Supported CMS/LMS/VLEs • Blackboard versions including WebCT • ANGEL • Moodle • Desire2Learn (to be available in March!) And … others who become integration partners
