The poem I was Henry VIII The king of England I’d followed my faith From the palace I ruled my land With six ladies by my side I had been well surrounded until I died Catherine of Aragon was my name Married to this man for the longest time At 24 years old he just came Got me preggy just before spring time Of my four children, one survived I’m humble and loyal but not fertile Imma be divorced

I was Anne Boleyn the king’s second wife I was a self driven and strong woman Although I’d been quite a good house-wife Judges started pointing their pens Towards my neck mole, looking at my ‘’six fingers” And “Off with the witches head” they had yelled Imma be beheaded Jane Seymour was my name I’d given birth to Henry’s first son But I’ll tell you what was lame My dear son caused my death, not that fun Henry told me that providence had mingled his joy With the bitterness of my death who brought him his boy Imma be dead
