  3. While / when 當…的時後 • While +持續的動作 (過去進行式) • When + 短暫的動作 (過去式) 記法!!! While 及 過去進行式 都有字母 “i” Ex1. While I was reading, my mom came in. Ex2. It started to rain while I was sleeping.

  4. Example study Use “While” to make a sentence: While I was studying, the phone rang. Use “when” to make a sentence: I was studying when the phone rang. Phone ring

  5. walk Use “While” to make a sentence: While he was walking, he saw a beauty. Use “when” to make a sentence: He was walking when he saw a beauty. see a beauty

  6. watch TV start to rain Use “While” to make a sentence: While she was watching TV, it started to rain. Use “when” to make a sentence: She was watching TV when it started to rain.

  7. play teacher comes in Use “While” to make a sentence: While they were playing, the teacher came in. Use “when” to make a sentence: They were playing when the teacher came in.
