The first screen is the log in screen. For your first login, you will enter your Ceridian Clock # in both the User Name and the Password area. The Company ID is MBL. Please save this website in the FAVORITES on your browser so you can easily access the system. Also, clicking REMEMBER ME will save your User Name and Company ID on your computer. If you are using a shared computer, do not click Remember Me. After clicking GO, the system will make you change your password. The User Name will always stay the same. After you click SUBMIT, you will remain in the same screen and it will say “Password Successfully Changed”. Above that is a drop down box…go to the HOME page.
One important note before we begin. If you should ever need to go to a different screen while on the Time and Attendance system, do NOT hit the BACK button on the internet browser. Use the buttons in the Ceridian system.
This is the page where you will access your timecards for the different pay periods. On this screen you will only see a few options for timecards but you will be able to view past and future timecards on the next screen. Click on the date that you want to enter time for and this will take you into the data entry screen.
The top part in blue is where you would see a summary of the current timecard. You will be able to see if you signed it and if your supervisor approved it. In this box is where you can access other pay periods if need be (VIEW OTHER PERIODS).
The Accrual button will take you to your time benefit balances. These balances reflect current data as of the last information that you saved on the system. You can also access this information on your HOME page.
Here is where you will enter your time taken. Click on the DATE dropdown box and pick the day you want to enter time for. In the TIME CODE dropdown, pick the time code that you want to enter. Regular time is Time Worked. In the next box enter your hours. The system wants to see the time in minutes, but you can enter it in quarter hours as well. Entering it as minutes you will use a colon (7:45), entering it as quarter hours you will use a period (7.75). Since you will have multiple days to enter, click the drop down box next to the “Add Rows” button and select the number of blank lines you want to enter. Then click on the words “Add Rows”. This will make your data entry easier After you’re finished entering your time, click SUBMIT. Clicking SUBMIT will save your entries. You can enter Regular time and time benefits for the same day, you just need to pick the date again on the next blank line and enter the time benefits that you used.
When you are finished entering your time for the entire pay period, enter your password in the box below (this will be the same as the password you entered when you logged into the system). Then click on the SIGN button. This will indicate to your supervisor that you are finished entering your time and they are free to approve the timecard. If you sign your timecard and find an error afterward, UNSIGN the card, make the changes and then re-sign it entering your password again.
After you have signed your timecard, an X will appear in the Sign box on your Home Page. When your supervisor has signed your timecard, an X will appear in the Approval box.
When you are finished, go to the HOME page before you log out of the system. Use the LOG OUT button to exit the Ceridian system. Do not use the X in the upper right hand corner of the browser. Non-Exempt time cards should be completed each week no later than the following Tuesday.
