My Life Story By: Lyndee Ledesma. One day old.
E N D
One day old Hello! My name is Lyndee Ledesma. I was born on July 1,1998 at LDS hospital. On this same day I was also given up for adoption, but thats okay! My birth parents were just trying to give me my best shot at having a good, stable life with steady parents. What an exciting day!
Meeting The Family Once I was taken home from the hospital, it was time for me to get introduced to everyone. To start off, I met my new big brother, Jordan Ledesma! We are exactly seven years apart and I could not have asked for a better best friend. Oh, he is adopted as well! After him came all of my extended family. There were so many faces I didn’t know what to do! So I just started to cry.
My Baptism Life went on up until the age of eight as well as you can expect, messy and crazy. However, on my eighth birthday things were perfect! My daddy baptised me which was a dream come true, plus…. I got my ears pierced!!! As much as a hate to admit it, I did cry. But once it was over I could not have been any happier with my decision! It was a day full of laughter, love, and happiness. (:
Daddy’s Little Girl As I started getting older, I became quite the daddy’s girl. I would often times go to work with him to his office and pretend that I was a doctor just like him. (: We had such a strong relationship until a series of unfortunate events led to his death. But thats okay! He was an amazing man that will always be remembered. That is just life, and it must go on!
Jordans Homecoming A few years later, Jordan got called to serve in the Tonga nuku’alofa mission. He served a faithful two years and then once he returned home, we went back to Tonga with him a week later to see what it was like! Making a few stops along the way, we found ourselves in Australia and New Zealand as well! It was such an amazing adventure and one that has forever changed my life.
Dance Nationals After arriving home from our trip, it was time for dance nationals! I have danced since I was 2 ½ and love it more than anything. However, at this particular competition I was almost kidnapped! Luckily, I was able to break free from my kidnappers grip on my wrist before we made it to his car. I sure did dodge a bullet on that day!
High School Now that I am older, I have made it through my first year of high school! I loved it both socially and academically. Plus, I was a cheerleader! Sophomore year was by far my favorite and I cannot wait for my Junior year to start. Only a week and a half left!
2014 Even though things weren’t always easy, I would not change my life for anyone elses! With all of that, we have made it to my present day life. It is going as good as ever and I cannot wait for all of the good things to come!
