Springboard • At the start of the day children go straight to their ‘springboard’ tables and complete their morning activity. • Springboard is between 8.50 and 9.30. This is a time for children to practice key areas of their learning e.g. reading, maths etc. It is also a time where interventions will take place – for any gaps in your child’s learning to be addressed.
PE days and Kit • PE is on a Wednesday afternoon. We will be doing indoor and outdoor PE so please ensure children have weather appropriate kit (i.e. jumpers and tracksuit bottoms). • Changing independently and being responsible for belongings: many children are still finding buttons tricky! Please do not send in laced shoes if your child is not able to lace their shoes independently. • Long hair must be tied back for PE days. • If your child has their ears pierced please make sure that they do not wear earrings on their PE day or can take them out themselves. • NAME LABELS!!
