  3. Eubacteria • Unicellular • No nucleus • Autotrophic or heterotrophic • Do not live in extreme environments • Microscopic

  4. Protists • Odds and ends kingdom • Autotrophs and heterotrophs • Some are unicellular others are multicellular (many cells) • Have a nucleus • Many are microscopic • Examples: amoeba, paramecium, some seaweeds

  5. Fungi • Most are multicellular (except yeast) • Eukaryotes (nucleus) • Heterotrophs • Decomposers • Examples: mushrooms, mold, yeast

  6. Plants • Multicellular • Eukaryotes • Autotrophs • Examples: trees, flowers, moss, etc.

  7. Animals • Multicellular • Eukaryotes • Heterotrophs • Examples: people, cats, dogs, fleas, fish, birds, snakes, mosquitoes, etc.
