Key Activities • Identification of institutions for Apprenticeship training began in Sept. 2001 • Selection of children by Centre Committees commenced in Sept.2001 • Placement of Children in institutions and payment of Tuition began in Oct. 2001 • Parent/Guardians workshops are carried out by all centres during school holidays • LIFE skills workshops are conducted during every school holiday. 4
Cont… • Follow up visits to the institutions are conducted by TASO counsellors regularly • Provision of toolkits is being done in Dec.2002 • Children will be visited by TASO counsellors and supported to practise their skills over a period of 2 years 5
