  4. 2. His Baptism Destroys fear of Sin Jesus was baptized Showed his respect for God Baptism is required – Acts 2:38 Overcome Satan by obedience

  5. 3. His Miracles Destroys Idea Satan is more powerful than God Jesus performed miracles Forgive sin ~ Weather ~ Crops Showed him to be God – Jn.10:30 Devil not as powerful

  6. 4. His Death Destroys Devils appeal to pride Jesus died for others sins Only Jesus was perfect Man has no room to boast Jesus had to die for us = Saviour

  7. 5. His Resurrection Destroys fear of Death Jesus arose from the grave If death were the end – 1 Cor.15:32 Resurrection breaks the fear Jesus lived after death – Heb.2:14

  8. Jesus came to defeat the Devil Gen.3:15 – bruised head of Satan Devil cannot control us if we are obedient to Jesus James 4:7 Serve the Lord – Rom. 14:18 John 12:26
