  3. ANTERIOR PALPATIONS • Pubic bone* • Inguinal ligament • Anterior superior iliac spine • Anterior inferior iliac spine • Sartorius • Rectus femoris * DO NOT PALPATE – FOR REFERENCE ONLY!

  4. LATERAL PALPATIONS • Iliac crest • Tensor fasciae latae • Gluteus medius • IT band • Greater trochanter • Trochanteric bursa

  5. MEDIAL PALPATIONS • Gracilis • Adductor longus • Adductor magnus • Adductor brevis

  6. POSTERIOR PALPATIONS • Median sacral crest • Posterior superior iliac spine • Gluteus maximus • Ischial tuberosity and bursa • Sciatic nerve • Hamstring muscles
