  2. Para hacer un mandato informal… • Pon (put) el verbo en la forma de tú • Por ejemplo: Hablar hablas • Luego drop the “s”  Habla (TALK)

  3. Informal Commands • Are used with people you would address as tú. • To give the informal commands, drop the –s endings of the verb • Tú hablas …. ¡Habla! • Tú escribes ….¡Escribe!

  4. Más práctica • Cocinar (to cook) the dinner • ¡Cocina la cena! • Pasar la aspiradora (to vacuum) • ¡Pasa la aspiradora! • Limpiar (to clean) your room / desk • ¡Limpia mi cuarto / pupitre!

  5. Practicar Más • Cortar el cesped (to mow the lawn) • ¡Corta el cesped! • Planchar la ropa (iron the clothing) • ¡Plancha la ropa!

  6. Frases importantes del vocab. • ¿Me ayudas a…? • Can you help me to…? • ¿Me haces el favor de…? • Can you do me the favor of…? • ¿Me pasas…? • Can you pass me…? • ¿Me traes…? • Can you bring me…?

  7. A tí te toca. • Escribe 3 mandatos creativos para dar un compañero de clase. • Habla y tienes que actuarlos.

  8. ¡Cuidado! There are exceptions to the rule… • Ven (Come) • Di (Say) • Sal (Leave) • Haz (Make / Do) • Ten (Have)  ¡Ten paciencia! • Ve (Go) • Pon (Put) • Se (Be)  ¡Se bueno! • Vete (Go away!)
