Encourage students to participate in research projects Calling Scientific Techniques and methods The student develops scientific thought, creativity and critical sense

  13. Research Programmes may be defined as a tool that provide qualified human resources formation.

  14. Impact of Research Programm to teachers and the University • Encourages researchers to face unfergraduate students as a routine. • Broadens and strenghtens research groups. • Provides to institutions policy-making strategies.

  15. Research Programm Scholarships • Type of financing through selection of students who excel in the university. • Individual stimulus. • Encouraging formation of new researchers.

  16. PIBIC Goals • To contribute to Human Resource formation in Research programmes. • To contribute to effectively reduce averaged time of Master and Doctorate formation.

  17. PIBITI Goals • To contribute to human resources formation to research, technological development and innovation activities. • To contribute to human resources formation to strenghten the innovative ability of enterprises in Brazil.

  18. PIBIC Assessment • There is a chance the former scholarship student become a Master student with grant (23% to 34%). • The chance of a former scholarship PIBIC student enter the Master studies with or without scholarship is between 40% and 60%. Fonte: NESUB/UNB
