Then Israel said, “Bring them to me so I may bless them.” 10 Now Israel’s eyes were failing because of old age, and he could hardly see.

I will disperse them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.

He couches, he lies down as a lion, and as a lion, who dares rouse him up? 10 “The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until Shiloh comes, and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples. 11 “He ties his foal to the vine, and his donkey’s colt to the choice vine; he washes his garments in wine, and his robes in the blood of grapes. 12 “His eyes are dull from wine, and his teeth white from milk.

Genesis 創世記 49:22-2622約瑟是一根結果子的樹枝，是一根泉旁結果子的樹枝，他的枝條蔓延出牆外。23弓箭手把他苦害，向他射箭敵對他。24但他的弓依然堅硬，他的手臂仍舊敏捷，這是出於雅各的大能者之手；出於以色列的牧者，以色列的磐石。25是你父親的　神幫助你，是那全能者賜給你；他把從天上來的福，地下深淵蘊藏著的福，哺乳和生育的福，都賜給你。26你父親的祝福，勝過我祖先的祝福，勝過永遠山嶺上的美物。願這些福都降在約瑟的頭上，降在兄弟中作王子的那一位頭上。22 “Joseph is a fruitful bough, a fruitful bough by a spring; its branches run over a wall. 23 “The archers bitterly attacked him, and shot at him and harassed him; 24 But his bow remained firm, and his arms were agile, from the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob (From there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel), 25 from the God of your father who helps you, and by the Almighty who blesses you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lies beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb. 26 “The blessings of your father have surpassed the blessings of my ancestors up to the utmost bound of the everlasting hills; may they be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of the one distinguished among his brothers.

Gen 37:9-10 後來[約瑟]又做了一夢，也告訴他的哥哥們說：「看哪，我又做了一夢，夢見太陽、月亮，與十一個星向我下拜。」約瑟將這夢告訴他父親和他哥哥們，他父親就責備他說：「你做的這是甚麼夢！難道我和你母親、你弟兄果然要來俯伏在地，向你下拜嗎？」 Now [Joseph] had still another dream, and related it to his brothers, and said, “Lo, I have had still another dream; and behold, the sun and the moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.” 10 He related it to his father and to his brothers; and his father rebuked him and said to him, “What is this dream that you have had? Shall I and your mother and your brothers actually come to bow ourselves down before you to the ground?” Gen 44:14猶大和他弟兄們來到約瑟的屋中，約瑟還在那裡，他們就在他面前俯伏於地。When Judah and his brothers came to Joseph’s house, he was still there, and they fell to the ground before him.

Then she said, “What a breach you have made for yourself!” So he was named Perez. 30 Afterward his brother came out who had the scarlet thread on his hand; and he was named Zerah.
