  3. 1 Facts of NUAS • Established 1976 • Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden (Faroe Islands, Greenland) • 57 member universities • Languages: Scandinavian and English • Members must be engaged in research activities and have a Ph.D.-programme • Applications on membership nationally from the Admin. Director • Decision by the NUAS Steering Group
